In the CoolRags realm, Polyester and Cotton are the most Mother Earth and human friendly threads for garments that are, affordable, comfortable to wear and can have high-end styling appeal.
Polyester and Cotton threads dominate the clothing industry. The “thread production industry” is gigantic and moves as a global entity. Their goal is to be totally green in the longer term.
CoolRags would choose to supply only Polyester and Cotton recycled garments, but Cotton is not recyclable into new thread suitable for garments. Recycled cotton is starting to be used as a fiber source for other textile products.
Polyester and Cotton garments involve a series of steps where labour is exploited in farming, thread making, weaving and garment production.
Mother Earth and her beings are definitely benefiting from growing awareness that human endeavours must be sustainable.
